Typically, there is approximately 25 minutes of clean, wholesome comedy with character Lizzy Lou. Then Lizzy transforms (in front of her audience) to Beth in about 1 minute. The rest of the program is finished out with vocals and music. For church events, women's conferences, and such, as Beth is changing from Lizzy Lou to herself, she gives a spiritual message using 11 Cor 5:17 and Eph 4:22-24, about the change Jesus Christ makes in us (see video clip) when we make Him our Lord and Savior and the songs following this are gospel songs, including some she wrote, and sometimes a brief testimony between songs. If her husband, Dave, is with her, he plays acoustic guitar and sings, also.-- For corporate events, private parties and such, which is often done with Dave, Lizzy Lou changes (in front of the audience) while Dave sings a song and plays guitar. Then they both sing a variety of songs (including some they wrote) and mix in a little humor along the way. If Beth performs solo for secular events, she can give a motivational message as she is changing. Many times, events other than church events, invite the spiritual message as the "transformation" takes place, but of course, that is up to the client..-- Sometimes, clients want just singing or just comedy, or a mixture of both. Whatever the case may be, program content and times can be easily tailored and/or customized to meet the client's needs.--
Beth said, "I have heard many times and believe that laughter is good medicine for the soul and that is probably why I love doing the comedy so much, but only a true relationship with Jesus Christ can heal the soul! My goal is to glorigy God and keep HIS message alive with laughter and song, by using the talents He has given me, to demonstrate the change Jesus can and does make in our lives, and to leave people with an uplifted spirit."
